About Me: I have about 53 years of experience cuddling and several years of being a Cuddle Party Facilitator. I am a mother and an auntie and in my previous life, I have been an electrician, a tree planter, a clown, and more. I have led parties in both Honolulu and Nelson and am about to lead the first-ever Cuddle Party in India in November! I’ll also be accepting a Global Fellowship Award for social innovation while I am there for my fun interactive workshop, Consent Culture Intro. I look forward to meeting you at Cuddle Party!

Favorite Cuddle Party Rule: My favorite rule is definitely “If you’re a ‘maybe’, say no.” This rule changed my life. I used to be the kind of person that said maybe all the time to avoid saying no and then experiencing a lot of stress with the anticipation hanging over my head of having to still say no, come up with a decent excuse, etc. Now, unless I’m sure that I’m a ‘yes’, I say ‘no’ and give myself the time and space to figure out what I truly want.

What I got out of Cuddle Party personally: So so much! It has changed my life in every way. Allowing me to practice and teach boundaries, communication, compassion, and kindness, has helped me to grow and heal. Thank you Cuddle Party!

Who I am as a Cuddle Party Facilitator / What you'll find at my Cuddle Parties: I’m very chill and interested in my participants. I do love the cuddling and oxytocin buzz, but I also am extremely fond of the education piece as Consent Education has become my thing. I feel the magic happens when people feel very safe, both to say no, and to ask for what they want, so I do a lot of exercises and maybe a little more practicing ‘no’ than at most parties.
