About Me: In addition to my work in the world of platonic touch, I am an early childhood educator and parent coach. I am passionate about self-care, relationships, communication, and consent. I enjoy writing, playing board games, and being in community with others. I love whimsy of all kinds.
Favorite Cuddle Party Rule: You are encouraged to change your mind. What a gift to have space and permission to honor the present moment this way.
What I got out of Cuddle Party personally: I learned, and continue to learn, how to ask for what I want, how to say yes to what I want and no to what I don’t want, and how to recognize the signals my body was sending me to even *know* what I was wanting in a given moment. I learned that there really is such a thing as platonic touch, despite my earlier skepticism, and that it can be powerfully nurturing and healing.
Who I am as a Cuddle Party Facilitator / What you'll find at my Cuddle Parties: My highest priority at a cuddle party is creating an environment that feels safe and welcoming for everyone. At my events, participants will find lots of cozy mattresses and soft fluffy spaces, chairs for sitting in and sharing conversations, and quiet places suitable for spending time alone in reflection. The space is clean, spacious, and everything is well labeled so you can always find whatever you are looking for. Another unique feature of my events is that our community tends to be generous in its potluck contributions, so there is often lots of yummy food to nibble on throughout.
